What types of adhesives does DECHU offer?
DECHU offers a wide range of high-performance adhesives, including wall tile adhesive, floor tile adhesive, heavy-duty tile adhesive, marble & stone adhesive, PU adhesive, construction glue, wood & panel adhesive, epoxy adhesive, and multipurpose bonding glue for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Which adhesive is suitable for porcelain tiles?
For porcelain tiles, DECHU recommends Heavy Duty Tile Adhesive or Premium Porcelain Tile Adhesive. These products provide excellent bonding strength, low slip, and long-lasting performance for both floors and walls.
Can I use DECHU adhesive outdoors?
Yes. Selected DECHU adhesives are specially formulated for both interior and exterior applications. They offer excellent weather resistance, water resistance, and strong adhesion, making them suitable for balconies, terraces, facades, and other outdoor installations.
Application
How do I prepare the surface before applying adhesive?
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, level, and free from dust, grease, paint, or loose particles. Repair any cracks or uneven areas before applying the adhesive for the best bonding performance.
How long does the adhesive take to dry?
Drying time depends on the product, temperature, and humidity. Most DECHU tile adhesives allow light foot traffic after 24 hours, while full curing typically takes 48–72 hours. Always follow the instructions on the product packaging.
Can I apply adhesive over existing tiles?
Yes, selected DECHU adhesives can be applied over existing tiles, provided the old tiles are firmly bonded, clean, and free from wax, grease, or loose material. For the best results, lightly roughen the tile surface before application.

What is the coverage per bag?
Coverage depends on the tile size, substrate condition, and trowel notch size. On average, a 20 kg bag covers approximately 4–6 m² under normal application conditions.
How should I store unopened adhesive bags?
Store unopened bags in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the bags off the ground and on pallets to prevent water damage.
What is the shelf life?
When stored in its original unopened packaging under recommended conditions, DECHU adhesives typically have a shelf life of up to 12 months from the date of manufacture.
